The OSU Access, Lock and Key is responsible for the issuance of keys, maintenance of keys, locks, and inventory of keys.

Need a Key?

Contact your department or unit's key authorizer. If you do not know who your key authorizer is, email [email protected] for assistance.

For Key Authorizers - Requesting a Key

Process for Picking Up Requested Keys

• Receive an email that your key(s) are ready to be picked up.
• Go to the university ID center.
• Show your OSU ID card to receive new key(s).

Keys should be returned to the Key Shop via the ID Center, Facilities Services or Campus Mail. 

All other questions, concerns and issues about keys and locks should go to [email protected] or submit a work request via My Facilities. ID Center staff will be unable to answer questions or concerns involving keys or locks.
