Frequently Asked Questions for the new Work Request System
Work requests are located under the Process option in the upper left navigation.

Yes! You can subscribe to any work requests by adding it to your Watch List.
Users can find more information about their Work Requests by choosing Process.
After choosing Process, users can see their Work Requests on the left side of the page.

Under any of the request fields, select Comments to see notes on the Work Request or select AiM to see what status the Work Request is in.

No, keys are still requested through My Facilities.
You can change Notification frequency by to the Settings tab and choose User Profile.
Under Notifications Defaults, click Edit and uncheck the Notifications you do not want to receive. Click Done to finish.

No, keys are still requested through My Facilities.
If you need to modify or cancel a work order, email [email protected] and include the Work Request number. Changes cannot be made on the customer side after the Work Request has been processed.

No, you can't receive building-specific or area-specific notifications. You can add yourself as a Watcher to a work request, or adjust notification settings within the Work Request system.

About the new Work Request System

Work requests placed before March 7, 2025, will be located in My Facilities.
The Work Request System used by Facilities Services has a new look!
We are updating the way in which work orders are entered and managed for Facilities Services on March 10, 2025. This change leverages the existing user interface provided by AiM, the current system used to enter and track the management of university facilities, including work orders. The custom-built My Facilities platform will house work requests generated before March 7, 2025. Users will be able to use My Facilities to check the status on these earlier work requests.
This change is designed to provide better transparency into the status of work requests, through subscribing to updates on a work order and the ability to track work requests by building.
